Can chaletos be used as a touchscreen?

Post by ooseven on Wed Aug 31, 2016 11:41 pm

I'm working on a HP 600 touchsmart and he wants linux on it.
My linux is chaletos :-)

So I'm hoping that I'm able to use it for this HP 600.

And loving it!
The part that needs adjustment the most on a PC
is the loose nut between the keyboard and the chair.

wish you the best, Chalet OS 16.04.2 the newest recent release will work on almost any laptop, even ones with UEFI.

If it causes any boot problems, not limited to UEFI problems, those problems are usually solved by following the steps in my topic http://chaletos.4rumer.com/t237-install-chalet-os-with-uefi

However I have had *no* reports of install/boot problems with their newest release ever yet so that's pretty good. It's a big improvement

Thank you for using Chalet OS!

The only good thing about Windows is that it never gives you any terminal illnesses.
Needless to say, Terminal illnesses are the only problem with Linux.
