[Solved] Intel Wireless-N connections are very slow

Post by DarkHawk on Sun Aug 14, 2016 6:47 pm

Some older devices like the Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230 (iwlwifi) are very slow
or never seem to reach their full potential.

You can solve this by running the following terminal command:

Code:
echo "options iwlwifi 11n_disable=8" | sudo tee -a /etc/modprobe.d/iwlwifi.conf

After this simply reboot the system.

The only good thing about Windows is that it never gives you any terminal illnesses.
Needless to say, Terminal illnesses are the only problem with Linux.
