Are there more translation options for dictionary app?

Post by danielson on Wed Jun 08, 2016 10:41 pm

Dictionary app is nice but German to Spanish or Spanish to German is not very useful for me.

Is there a way to add others like French to English and English to French?

Gnome-Translate called "Language Translator" can be found in the Ubuntu software Centre. That might work better. Let me know if it does Smile

The only good thing about Windows is that it never gives you any terminal illnesses.
Needless to say, Terminal illnesses are the only problem with Linux.

It's a no go James.

Even if language is English, i get error message:
"Language detection not available"

Maybe made by the folks at WPS (which is unavailable to download at present time).

Where are you getting that error message (what are you doing to cause it)?

The gnome one you recommended.

It's okay - will find a workaround.
